Idle Hour Elementary School

Idle Hour Elementary students rose to the occasion for this year’s Makerspace Fair, thanks to a creative incentive from Principal Mrs. Rubin.

Second graders at Idle Hour Elementary wrapped up their social studies unit on different types of communities by designing their own urban, rural and suburban environments.

Students across Connetquot put their keyboarding skills to the test in this year’s annual typing competition. Together, they logged an impressive 3,495 hours with an average accuracy rate of 96%!

Idle Hour Elementary School celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Week and P.S. I Love You Day with a variety of meaningful activities designed to spread positivity and promote teamwork.

Idle Hour Elementary marked the 100th day of school with a fun, schoolwide challenge organized by the fifth grade student government.
